Dead Coyotes Biography

Formed on the sunny streets of Glasgow, Dead Coyotes are a 4 piece alt-rock band, inspired by the likes of QotSA, Radiohead, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

It all began in 2016, when Rory asked Stephen to be in a band that he had started. Stephen agreed, and the two set off, becoming the founding members of Dead Coyotes.

Following a few weeks of jamming and learning songs, they thought it best that they start introducing new members, namely a bassist, to allow them to expand and begin gigging! Introducing, Dom, who found an advert that Rory and Stephen had placed online. They began their proper rehearsals in March and never looked back.

Between 2016 and 2018, many a show was played by the trio. Namely shows at venues like King Tuts, Audio, and the Priory, which created many partnerships with bands up and down the UK. On top of all of this, they also managed to release 2 Eps, the first being “Don't get lost in the desert” in late 2016, and “Dog's Gold” in late 2017.

That's where we introduce Calum, who was made known to the band when Stephen expressed interest in having a new guitarist, which Calum happened to hear. One quick audition later and here we are. With Calum's company, the band has continued to gig and record, with more shows around Glasgow, and a new EP, “Where Demons Dance” released in December of 2018. With that, we're looking to grow and develop, which is, hopefully, why you're reading this.

Love, DC x
