Legends of Country Biography
Legends Of Country are a band formed by Jof Owen from The Boy Least Likely To. Inspired by a long standing love of country music and memories of growing up watching Pebble Mill and listening to Johnny Cash and George Hamilton IV, their songs combine a classic country sound with an honest and unmistakeable English indiepop charm.
Their first single will be That's What We Talk About When We Talk About Country. With dobro guitar, pedal steel and mariarchi trumpets blasting away, the A side is a role call of "country" icons from Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker and Loretta Lynn to darts player Jocky Wilson and the beat writer Carolyn Cassady.
The single will be released on June 22nd on the Talk About Country label.
