The Key Notes are a Male Vocal Harmony Group, singing unaccompanied in every style from Opera to Jazz, Irish to unique arrangements of contemporary songs. The Key Notes, whose fans include the great Placido Domingo, are all well known Irish vocal soloists in a diverse number of musical fields. With critics labeling their performances "extremely entertaining", the Key Notes have performed, abroad, and at home in Ireland, in most of the country's top venues. Although all operate as soloists, they have all been part of top quality choral groups, such as the National Chamber Choir of Ireland and the choral group, Anúna. To date they have: performed a number of times on Irish television; written, arranged, and performed for film soundtrack; written and performed advertisement jingles (including the highly successful Maynards Wine Gum Ads). They frequently perform in concerts around the country, with their annual Christmas concert in Dublin, a key event in many peoples Christmas celebration calender! They are in constant demand on the corporate entertainment circuit, including regular performances for the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, at her official residence. As individuals and as a group they have recorded with, or performed alongside, Phil Coulter, James Galway, Shane McGowan, Rebecca Storm, Charlotte Church, Secret Garden, Celtic Woman, John McNally, The Chieftans, Rua, The Celtic Tenors, Eimear Quinn, Ronan Tynan, Brian Kennedy and Niall Tobin. The group consists of Eunan Mc Donald, a classical crooner, with a wealth of experience in a diverse number of musical styles (Eunan was lead soloist in Michael Flatley's stunning “Feet of Flames” extravaganza in front of an audience of 30,000 in Hyde Park, London); Stephen Fennelly, the group's fog horn, a former corner stone of the Irish National Chamber Choir,an accomplished classical singer, with a masters in Opera Performance; Barry Finn, one of Ireland's leading writers and arrangers, a world-class choral tenor, not to mention a falsetto specialist; Jeremy Morgan, who has travelled worldwide to wide critical acclaim, as the lead solo singer with Riverdance, and Druid; Jeremy is a traditional and classical specialist; Simon Morgan, who has travelled worldwide as a jazz singer, is a highly trained opera singer much in demand with orchestras and opera companies in Ireland and the UK, and has toured abroad as a cultural representative with President McAleese. Their performance is light hearted and fun, with each member interacting with the audience in their own unique way. Their repertoire will both amuse and astound audiences - from the haunting Irish pieces to jazz and opera classics, which show off the range and quality of these five voices. The Key Notes are a Male Vocal Harmony Group, singing unaccompanied in every Style from Opera to Jazz, Irish to Unique arrangements of contemporary songs.
