Ashaki

Ashaki is an international Jazz singer from Detroit who creates a warm soulful aura that audiences everywhere eagerly embrace. A graduate of Cass Tech High School, her original career plans were to become a doctor. But she grew up in a family of church singers and, after getting a taste of performing, the appeal of becoming a professional singer never left her. So, after a short stint at Wayne State University, she decided to give singing her primary focus. During this time she met Dee Dee McNeal was so touched by what she heard she requested to meet the person with the voice. Dee Dee McNeal put Ashaki in several music productions, and introduced her to many famous musicians.
