Jason Morrell

Jason Morrell was born and raised on the music of Appalachia in East Tennessee as well as influenced heavily from living in New York City throughout his late 20's and his time in San Francisco since June 2010. He has been playing and singing since a child and has been leading bands professionally since age 18. His debut album "An Unorthodox Elegy" tells stories of coming of age, love and loss and was recorded at the incomparable Tiny Telephone and produced by the incredible Jamie Riotto. "An Unorthodox Elegy" is a semi-exhaustive look at the key moments that have helped shape and form him up to this point in his life, shrouded in rich synth and unique layered vocal stylings.
