Good Morning Bedlam is performing at Mag Bar with Andrew Robinson! Good Morning Bedlam's show is an explosion of energy with soaring harmonies, a banjo player that scissor-kicks in the air, a string bass that will shake your chest, and a beat that will have your foot stomping through the floor. Every song is a unique twist on what is generally dubbed as folk music. One moment they are blasting through a jubilant bluegrass tune, headbanging and careening around the stage, and in the next, Sophia, their fiddler is dancing the Charleston during what can only be described as a modern folk swing dance song. Acoustic singer songwriter/one man band Andrew Robinson continuously searches for the daily inner complexities of simple personal interaction and love in his songwriting and acoustic renditions. There is very little that exists outside of the Rockford resident's musical interests and vocal spectrum, channeling the vocal passion from the soul singers of old while digging deep into the catalogs of some of the greatest in folk, pop, and rock. Andrew stretches his inspirations to their fullest potential, captivating audiences and calming the most tortured soul. Presented by Last Triumph 7PM / 21+ / $5

This quartet from Minneapolis upheld that cities incredible musical genes with a captivating performance of originals, and even tossed in a cover of “All About That Bass,” adding their own unique style served up with more sass and a twang of bluegrass. Clearly sharing a passion for music and playing with each other, you can tell they have a lot of different musical influences, and the incorporate those into their own original style along with tempo changes and surprised layered with their lush vocals. Such a great so see them in an intimate setting such as Elk City Records, Charleston’s newest independent record store which is quickly gaining a reputation for high quality clean vinyl and great sounding small live performances.
