(Ελληνικά παρακάτω) Blood-pumping Bay Area Thrash contaminated by that notorius Teutonic drive craft the Greek quartet's unique style, praised once again on their first full-length album, "Theater of the Absurd" (No Remorse Records, 2017). With numerous live shows around Greece and abroad, AMKEN has shared the stage with bands like SODOM (DE), SUICIDAL ANGELS (GR), GORGOROTH (NO), SIX FEET UNDER (US), MERCILESS (SE), NERVOSA (BR), SKELETONWITCH (US) and SKULL FIST (CA), following their debut EP "Adrenaline Shot" (2014) which was re-released as a split with Peruvian thrashers MAZE OF TERROR (EBM Records, 2015). Their biggest festival feature to date has been Schoolwave 2015 with a cheering crowd of over 1000 people. AMKEN was formed in September 2011 in Athens, Greece. --------------------------------------------------------------- Έχοντας περιοδεύσει σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό, τα “zombie pets” από την Αθήνα έχουν μοιραστεί τη σκηνή μεταξύ άλλων με μπάντες όπως οι SODOM, SUICIDAL ANGELS, GORGOROTH, SIX FEET UNDER, MERCILESS, NERVOSA, SKELETONWITCH και SKULL FIST στο σύντομο χρονικό της ύπαρξής τους. Το 2014 έκαναν το ντεμπούτο τους με το EP "Adrenaline Shot", το οποίο επανακυκλοφόρησε σαν split την επόμενη χρονιά από την EBM Records, ενώ στις 7 Απριλίου 2017 κυκλοφόρησε ο πρώτος τους ολοκληρωμένος δίσκος με τίτλο "Theater Of The Absurd" μέσω της ελληνικής δισκογραφικής No Remorse Records. Μεγαλύτερη συμμετοχή των ΑΜΚΕΝ σε φεστιβάλ αποτέλεσε το Schoolwave 2015 με headliners τους “δικούς μας” PLANET OF ZEUS μπροστά σε πλήθος 1000+ ατόμων.
