Francois Klark Biography

South African-born, Canadian singer-songwriter & producer, Francois Klark, is a JUNO nominated Universal Music Award winner who has opened for such acts as Grammy winner Jon Bellion (Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Eminem). He has worked on projects with UMG/Decca Records UK, and his songs have been recorded by the likes of Hollywood Records artist Sofia Carson. His music also prominently features in Netflix’s hit film ‘Feel The Beat’ alongside artists including Demi Lovato and Alessia Cara.

The launch of Klark’s career is marked by his independently released 2017 debut single ‘Spaceman’ followed by his 2018 debut album ‘Love’. He garnered tens of millions of streams across digital platforms and his songs appeared on several Spotify editorial playlists, the Viral 50 Singapore and Norway, the American Top 40, and US top 100 Charts. In 2020 his evocative ballad ‘Always’ played a pivotal role in director Elissa Down’s Netflix Film ‘Feel The Beat’ which featured choreography by Mia Michaels to Klark's ‘Always’. Klark’s exceptional independently released 2022 sophomore album, "Adventure Book” landed him a coveted JUNO nomination in the 2023 Adult Contemporary Album of the Year category alongside decorated artists including Michael Bublé and Jann Arden. With over 18,000,000 streams on Spotify alone, the remarkably talented artist also earned a feature on NPR's August 2022 Live Sessions.

From pop anthems doused with provocative hooks, flickering synths, and cinematic soundscapes, to delicate singer-songwriter piano ballads - Klark's music contains a world of songs with a colossal amount of slickly addictive polish and an undeniable vocal, sharply dressed onto storytelling lyrics. His most recent album ‘Adventure Book’ can best be described as a wanderlust memoir journeying through a world of wondrous pop production that dauntlessly ventures into awe-inspiring symphonic concert halls and small villages.
