Shelly Moore

Born in North Carolina and now based out of Nashville, TN, Shelly Moore has released 4 full-length albums to date as well as a Hymns EP. As you grow in familiarity with her lyrics, you hear a sincere vulnerability as the lyrics speak from a place of awareness of the condition of a fragile and finite human in contrast to the great Creator and namer of the stars. It's a voice the listener can enter into easily and make their own as we all find ourselves in that place, coming face to face with our own humanity in light of a God who pursues us. Her last album, Unraveling, was released in 2012. Then for numerous reasons she took a break from music. 2017 reignited musical endeavors that took Shelly to many parts of the world and she is currently writing and planning for more long-awaited releases this year.
