Simon Mustafa Biography
Simon Mustafa....
is a Milwaukee native emcee & entrepreneur. Simon was raised on Milwaukee's north side, an area of the city that is often prone to violence, but also home to many of the city's Hip Hop talent. Simon's preparation for his journey into the world of Hip Hop began at a young age, when he found an interest in Hip Hop music, and later developed an interest in the written word and began writing his own thoughts and feelings. His main motivation for immersing himself in Hip Hop and writing was a need for his voice to be heard. Being the youngest of three children, he often felt he wasn't being listened to, and Hip Hop gave him an opportunity to share his thoughts, feelings and opinions in a different way that allowed him more freedom than he felt he had previously.
Simon Mustafa has been greatly influenced by other Milwaukee native emcees, many of whom were raised on the same north side streets. He is part of a young, talented group of emcees that has made Milwaukee a hotbed for Hip Hop talent in recent years. Always a man eager to keep momentum, Simon has set an ambitious recording schedule, releasing at least one project a year since 2015. To date, he has released 2 projects, with another two projects coming before the end of 2017 if all goes as planned.
In addition to his musical ventures, Simon has also delved into the world of fashion, creating his own clothing line called Chosen One Apparel. He has also formed his own entertainment company, Chosen One Entertainment, to help further his own artistic ventures, as well as supporting projects of other artists from the city of Milwaukee. In addition to being a talented emcee, Simon also dabbles in playing the piano, something he picked up while in high school.
Simon Mustafa is among a group of young, talented and driven artists that are the backbone of Milwaukee's rapidly rising music scene. This young man has been rapidly approaching great things, and its only a matter of time.
