Adapted for the stage by the world’s finest playwrights, The Children’s Monologues are based on the words of children growing up in rural and remote African townships. All proceeds from this one-night-only presentation go to jointly support Dramatic Need and Carnegie Hall. Directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle.

I did not like the music. I came to see her play the bass and sing. It wasn't my type of jazz. Maybe I should have researched '12 spells' before I purchased the ticket.

Bandsintown marked the concert at 9 pm when it actually started at 8 pm but I got there to listen to the last half hour of the show. Esperanza was amazing and she even brought out her upright at the end. Incredible show!
