Cesca

Pronounced 'Chescka' the band Cesca are a hard-hitting modern jazz trio formed in 2014 by Alex Wilson on keys, Ciaran Corr on guitar and Sam Jones on drums. Slowly emerging from the bedroom studio with some seriously intense groove music from outer space, they're three young dudes attempting to paint their alien sound on to the canvas of the London jazz scene. Cesca are Alex Wilson (keys, synth), Ciaran Corr (guitar) and Sam Jones (drums).The trio's second EP, released in September 2016 a year after the first, encapsulates the breadth and progression of their sound from ambient electronics through to powerful driving grooves. They wowed audiences at the 2016 Cambridge and London Jazz Festivals, and were a highlight of the Bandstand Stage at Love Supreme 2017. Expect high-octane, adventurous yet accessible fusion music with high energy levels!
