Excellent show! Great playing and visuals. Too bad it took them 10 years to come back to SLC.

The Garage
August 25th 2016
My comment is not as positive as I would like to share and not because of The Album Leaf performance itself but because of the venue, The Garage. Last year I enjoyed the band's live at Union Chapel. It was the perfect venue for the first time I could see them after 5 years following them. The acoustic was amazing... It was like diving into their songs and still nowadays one of the best concerts I have ever enjoyed. I bought all the merchandise! This time at the Garage was utterly bad. The staff at the main entrance was rude, didn't explain us the 1:20h delay, left us outside and it was freezing. Once inside, where it was still really cold, before their performance, something wasn't going well and I could see how the band members were suffering for all the trouble found. The worst experience of the night was the sound, too loud and chaotic. Songs that instead of letting your mind flow, I was struggling to understand what was going on. Still I've bought the new merchandise displayed. I would like to be clear on my opinion, I'm not blaming The Album Leaf at all as I remember how extremely incredible was their last year's concert in a proper venue. I just hope they never choose "The Garage" for a live show again. I hope to see them again soon and that everything goes better for the rest of their tour. With respect, Antonio
