Acclaimed folktronic singer-songwriter Minute Taker (aka Ben McGarvey) and BFI award-winning animation artist Ana Stefaniak have created a haunting, modern fable told through projected film and an epic live band performance brimming with ethereal piano songs, fizzing synthesisers and orchestral twists.Join an artist as he journeys through the euphoric highs and the self-destructive lows of his creative cycles. Set on a desolate seashore, a new romantic relationship brings him the contentment he craves but it soon becomes apparent that there's something else lurking in the shadows; a ghostly, shapeshifting third entity whose form is entirely dependent upon the artist's current mindset.

Minute Taker Biography
Minute Taker (aka Ben McGarvey) is an 80-inspired, queer artist from Manchester, UK. His latest irresistibly nostalgic synth-pop album Wolf Hours includes the singles Lead You Home, The Darkest Summer and After The Rain (featuring Bright Light Bright Light) which has received airplay on BBC Radio 2.
Aside from two previous acclaimed albums (Last Things and Too Busy Framing), several EPs and official remixes for Yazoo & Erasure, Minute Taker has gained a reputation for his inventive cover versions of classic songs by some of his favourite artists including Kate Bush, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Tori Amos & Pet Shop Boys. Many of these were recorded exclusively for Secret Songs, a series of homemade albums available for fans via a Patreon-esque subscription service.
