J.R. Moore Biography
Born and raised in the musically rich city of Memphis, TN, J.R. Moore was surrounded by some of the best country, rock, and blues music that's ever been made. As a veteran of the music industry for more than a decade and lead singer of the band, Ingram Hill,
J.R. has toured nationally with Maroon 5, Zac Brown Band, Gavin Degraw, Jason Mraz, Hanson and many moore. Moore's songs have charted multiple times across Billboard's Top 40, Heatseaker, and Top Country charts, as well as appearing in film and brand syncs.
J.R. is an established writer in Nashville and has written with some of the best in the business (Jeff Trott, David Ryan Harris, Bruce Wallace, Adam Hambrick) for ole music publishing and sync production house Jingle Punks.
J.R. Moore's debut solo EP, Rocket, (Produced by Mighty Mighty BossToneS guitarist Lawrence Katz and Jingle Punks Senior Creative Director Matt Chambless) is an earthy take on contemporary country music with its raw instrumentation and infections melodies, ultimately posing the question, "what would country music have sounded like if it made it's home in Memphis instead of Nashville?"
