The Harlers Biography
Formed in 2015, Chris Pritchard & Jamie Warren started rehearsing song ideas which would become the band's signature style, with Electric Guitar and Drums. The pair gained an intimate musical understanding mixing Blues Rock with an Alternative twist singing about personal tales of love and loss. With influences such as The Black Keys, Royal Blood, Queens of the Stone Age & Gary Clark Jr. the band's sound of foot-stomping drum grooves, growling bass tone, piercing guitar and powerful, vibrant vocals create a modern Garage Rock sound. In June 2016 The Harlers released their debut single “Your Love”. A video quickly followed and the bands reputation as a live band grew with wild, eye catching performances. In March 2017 The Harlers expanded the band to a three-piece, adding Mitch Malone on Bass Guitar providing the growling bottom end to push the band to the next level. In September 2017 the band released their debut EP 'Morning Light' to a sold out crowd at The Victoria, Swindon. The band have since been featured by NME Magazine as an "Emerging Artist" in January 2018 and will be touring and playing festivals throughout the rest of the year. “Slow and hypnotic, raw and righteous, this is the beating heart of blues rocked up, repackaged and Anglicised and the result is glorious.” - The Swindonian “The songs bring to mind an image of a working man trying to find a place in the world for him and his loved ones" - Reyt Good Magazine The Harlers are a three-piece Alternative Rock band from Swindon, UK. Formed in 2015 by Chris Pritchard (Guitar/Vocals) & Jamie Warren (Drums), later adding Mitch Malone (Bass/Vocals) to the lineup at the start of 2017.
