IIndMan Biography
Phenyo Kgaffe known as IIndMan, the Creator of Mediaville Entertainment, but as newly named – MARS which consists of Him and OT. He hails from a small town in South Africa named Mafikeng.
Born on the 25 November 1992 he has always been a creative young mind from the age of 13. This has all payed out to make him who he is to the eyes of the Public in South Africa and other continents such as African continents, Germany, England and the United States of America.
He stands out as the an efficient Graphic Designer and Music Producer. Tlhap II’nd Man has had too many people looking down on where he’d be today, but he stuck close to the footsteps of his role model Erica Wright known as Erykah Badu – The Soul Queen of the World, by the means of using his soul (energy & vibe) to accomplish most things he cannot achieve in life.
The name Tlhap landed on him back in 2006, which means “Take/ Taken” in a Greek language, and II’nd Man being the other half of his wide ranger creativity made this all up to IIndMan – “Taken from the Beast.”
He has established him self very well into the music and graphic scene by the means of the internet becoming a platform to connect with more people.
With people all over the world following him. freelancing had became another platform for him. Through all of this he fitted in as similar to American Celebrities, by reaching out to the world through the internet.
In 2009 he had to pull out of school for unforeseen reasons, but to him it came as a chance to focus more on where he stands in his creativity zone. In that year he worked with Mo’ Molemi on his album named “REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE” and produced a thriller named Lefika-Town feat. Spikey of Lyv Records. As time moved on that year he extended his work out to more celebrities such as A.K.A of the I.V League for the South African HYPE Hip Hop Awards Poster – as you know, he even walked away with the award, with votes boosted by the Poster created by IIndMan.
He has done a few international graphics for big companies as Style Pump Records in Florida in the USA, and Major artists and Models such as Daria Isabella Omar from Germany. He continued freelancing images for Local Companies too but was never really into them. – Back2skul Annual Party and more.
As soon as that year ended, he had been accepted into Potchefstroom Boys High School situated in North West, South Africa. He had thought this was the end for his working career, but that was only the beginning of 2010.
He decided to create a brand out of his images, which was named IIndMan Designs. This was too focus on Marketing & Advertising concepts. For that year he then designed flyers for companies and public figures such ass The Repertoires(The Reps), AKA, Lucia Mthiyane, Phly Cru SA, Benny Maverick, Ima Kool Kid, TP Beatjunky, Newscafe – Durban, Miller, Makhosini Sihlali, Taydos, Larryngtis, DJ Capital, DJ Deza, DJ Syncane, Blingkutts Entertainment, Campus Shutdown, Confessions of the Dancefloor, Swagg Liveson, Rick Ross and many more.
He accomplished all of this while he was still in school. Tooling through bunking and prioritising his academics just to get by. This payed out, as his name built a reputation everywhere and every party pooper wanted to work with him.
Blingkutts Entertainment saw the talent in him and approached him with a contract for the position of being the Head of Graphics for the company including a manager. He then decided to jump on board with them. Blingkutts entertainment was out to acheive the most with parties such as OMG I’m SO FRESH, Far from Over, C.R.E.A.M and the Rick Ross Countdown. They signed SA’s best dance crew – Relapse. After a few complications of loyalty he decided to leave Blingkutts in 2011 to focus on building MARS as independent media company.
The following years for IIndMan started to shape up. He produced 3 songs on KT’s MOGOTE EP and debut album – Afterschool with the likes of producers such as I.V League, Dome, m(UZI)c and Mwanamundu III. He has established a unique sound with VSTs overpowering the samples and putting you into a new world. This sound is influenced by Erykah Badu and the internet age of Generation-Y.
