Finley

I FINLEY sono Pedro (voce), Ka (chitarra), Dani (batteria) e Ivan (basso).
La band, nata nel 2002 tra i banchi di scuola del Liceo Galileo Gailiei di Legnano, è la naturale evoluzione del rapporto di amicizia che lega i quattro musicisti.

Nel 2006 pubblicano il loro disco d'esordio “TUTTO È POSSIBILE”. L'album, prodotto da Claudio Cecchetto e accompagnato da un lunghissimo tour, diventa in pochi mesi doppio disco di platino. A coronamento di un anno di successi, la band viene premiata con il prestigioso riconoscimento del Best Italian Act agli MTV Europe Music Awards di Copenaghen.

Nel giugno del 2007 i Finley pubblicano il loro secondo album: “ADRENALINA”. Questa volta il tour, oltre a toccare tutta Italia, porta i Finley a calcare il palco dei più prestigiosi festival europei: Rock AM Ring e Rock IM Park in Germania, Wireless Festival in Inghilterra e Pier Pressure in Svezia. Nel 2008 la band partecipa alla 58a edizione del Festival di Sanremo piazzandosi al quinto posto con il brano “Ricordi”. Durante quella settimana pubblica “ADRENALINA 2”, album che vede la partecipazione straordinaria della pop-star messicana BELINDA e che diventa in poche settimane disco di platino. In seguito al tour di ADRENALINA 2, i Finley conquistano per la seconda volta il Best Italian Act agli MTV EMA's di Liverpool.

A novembre 2009 la band presenta un EP di brani inediti dal titolo “BAND AT WORK”, che anticipa l'uscita del terzo album “FUORI!”, pubblicato il 30 marzo 2010. I Finley proseguono il loro cammino tra tour e nuovi impegni, collaborando con Edoardo Bennato per il DVD live MTV Classic Storytellers e realizzando per Disney il brano “Per La Vita Che Verrà”, inserito nella colonna sonora del film Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Nel 2011 la band partecipa alla realizzazione di RIO - IL CD, la compilation ispirata al film d'animazione FOX ed il 29 Maggio dell'anno successivo pubblica il quarto disco “FUOCO E FIAMME", il primo prodotto con la propria etichetta discografica, la Gruppo Randa.
Il disco esordisce alla posizione numero uno nella classifica degli artisti indipendenti ed il brano "Olympia (The Sound Of My Nation)" viene scelto dalla Federazione Pugilistica Italiana per rappresentare l'Italian Boxing Team nella spedizione olimpica di LONDRA 2012.

A soli sei mesi di distanza da "FUOCO E FIAMME" esce "SEMPRE SOLO NOI", un concept album scritto per celebrare i dieci anni della band. L'ultima traccia dal titolo "Undici" diventa sigla dell'omonimo talk-show sportivo di MEDIASET condotto da Pierluigi Pardo.

A Gennaio 2013 i Finley vengono scelti da LEGO per realizzare la colonna sonora del nuovo progetto "LEGENDS OF CHIMA". "Unleash The Power", "Day Of Glory" e "Horizon" sono i titoli dei tre brani che accompagneranno la più grande campagna mai realizzata dal prestigioso marchio danese.

FINLEY are Pedro (vocal), Ka (guitar), Dani (drums) and Ivan (bass). The band was formed in 2002, born out of the close friendship between the guys at the Galileo Galilei High School in Legnano.

In 2006, they recorded their first album, TUTTO E' POSSIBILE, produced by Claudio Cecchetto, which was followed by a very long tour and subsequently was awarded double platinum. After a very successful year, Finley won Best Italian Act at the MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS in Copenhagen.

In June 2007, they recorded a second album, ADRENALINA which toured not only in Italy, but brought them to the stages of Europe's most prestigious festivals: Rock AM Ring and Rock IM Park in Germany, Wireless Festival in the UK and Pier Pressure Festival in Sweden. In 2008 the band competed at the 58th Sanremo Festival placing 5th with the song RICORDI. In that same week they recorded ADRENALINA 2, featuring the Mexican pop star Belinda. The album went platinum. Following the tour of Adrenalina 2, Finley once again won Best Italian Act at the MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS in Liverpool.

In November 2009 the band produced an EP of unreleased songs called BAND AT WORK which was followed by a third album, FUORI!, released on 30 March 2010. Further productions featured Edoardo Bennato with the live DVD MTV Classic Storytellers and a song for Disney, PER LA VITA CHE VERRA', soundtrack of CAMP ROCK 2 : THE FINAL JAM.

In 2011 the band contributed to the production of RIO - THE CD, a compilation album inspired by the animation film FOX and on 29th May of the following year, the band produced their fourth album, FUOCO E FIAMME, the first album produced under their own record label, GRUPPO RANDA. The album went straight to no1 place in the Italian independent album chart and the song OLYMPIA (The Sound Of My Nation) was chosen from the Federazione Pugilistica Italiana to represent the Italian Boxing Team for the 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES in London.

Just 6 months after Fuoco e fiamme, SEMPRE SOLO NOI came out, a concept album released to celebrate 10 Years of the band. The last track of the album, UNDICI, became the theme song of the Mediaset football program of the same name hosted by Pierluigi Pardo.

In January 2013, Finley were chosen by LEGO to produce the soundtrack of their new project LEGEND OF CHIMA. UNLEASH THE POWER, DAY OF GLORY and HORIZON are the 3 songs that will accompany the prestigious Danish brand biggest campaign ever realised.
