|VALENTINE JAMES|Combine country storytelling with r&b grooves and pop melodies, and you have Valentine James.James was born and raised in Nashville, and began her musical life as a classically trained vocalist and self pro-claimed "musical theater nerd.". She has performed in ensembles at Carnegie Hall, and has been a featured vocalist on international tours that have taken her from Canada to Uganda and beyond. In 2011, James re-located to Boston, MA where she lent her talents to contemporary music as a background vocalist for various artists and local ensembles. Now, back in Nashville for good, Valentine James is stepping into the spotlight on her own. With her smokey voice, and sultry, playful lyrics, Valentine James is making music you'll want to move to, and be moved by. Be on the lookout for her debut EP, Quick Goodbyes, coming in 2017.
