D-DOTs Biography

Starting with the release of his critically acclaimed ‘FAYA’ EP in early 2016, London’s D-DOTs has been making quite the name for himself. Performing alongside legends such as Plastician and also playing internationally in hotspots like Paris, his tropical enthused party sound is destroying dance-floors everywhere.
August saw the release of D-DOTs’ much anticipated single ‘Gyal is Dead’ on DJ Shiftee’s ‘Hot Mom USA’ imprint. The song, met with massive enthusiasm, was featured on Diplo’s BBC Radio 1 show, Anna Lunoe’s Beats 1 show and was also spun at Tomorrowland by Mightyfools!

However D-DOTs isn’t quite done for 2016 yet, an EP release with Babylon Records & an upcoming US tour will see this young talent get only hotter before the year closes!

“pan-global beats and thumping percussion, with nods to dancehall and kuduro.” - Complex UK

“[D-DOTs] combines disparate global clubs sounds into music that is kinetic. It sweeps you up and propels you to lose your mind. It’s irresistible” - Walmer Convenience

“D-DOTs is distilling influences from genres like Baile Funk, Dancehall and carnival music, inside his own very playful, energetic productions, creating a unique amalgamation of fast paced dancefloor shaking beats.” - LAcroixx
