From local radio in the 1930’s to the Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall, this premier southern gospel quartet is the oldest mixed gospel group with ties to its original founding that is still performing and recording after 8 decades. D.P. “Dad” Carter formed the group in 1935 and since then this amazing quartet has sold over 40 million records and has been showered with musical awards and accolades. Voted the number one gospel group of all time by Southern Gospel Radio, the quartet maintains the clear, uncluttered sound of pure music with old favorites like I’ll fly Away, Higher, I’ll Meet You in the Morning and others that so identify gospel music’s most recognizable style of music. We’re proud to present Shaye Smith, Stan Hill, Jeremy Stephens & Melissa Kemper – the Chuck Wagon Gang -- at the Inn for three fabulous performances.
