The 2017 Caravan du Nord tour rolls into Worthington for a day of artist workshops, music industry networking and performances by soul-tinged folk artist Chastity Brown, Americana singer/songwriter Kari Arnett and Worthington's own Bill Keitel! Presented in partnership with the Friends of the Auditorium and sponsored by The Current.The 2017 Caravan du Nord is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Kari Arnett Biography

Based in Madison, WI and having a 5 year run in Minneapolis, MN, Americana singer/songwriter Kari Arnett offers up authentic Midwestern feelings and has shared the stage with Paul Thorn, Frazey Ford, Chastity Brown, Michael McDermott, and Erin Rae. Her vocal style has often been compared to Patty Griffin and Lori McKenna with a vulnerable grit as honest as her songs and inhabits the folk-country borderlands. Arnett's single, "Heavy Heart", received praise as well as a feature from American Songwriter Magazine as well as other great reviews in The Alternate Root, and Revival Music Magazine. Her debut EP, "Midwestern Skyline", was released in 2015. Her full-length debut album,"When The Dust Settles" - Produced by: Danny O'Brien (DEM YUUT,The Farewell Circuit, Hot Dad Labs) Mastered by: Huntley Miller (Bon Iver, Sylvan Esso), was released September 20th, 2018 and has garnered great reviews from Rolling Stone, No Depression, Americana Highways, The Daily Country, Wide Open Country, and The Current's Host and DJ of The United States of Americana, Bill DeVille has praised Arnett for "being one of the Twin Cities most hardworking artists", and her single This American Life has earned a #1 spot on The Alternate Root Spotify playlist. www.kariarnett.com
