Bardo Biography

The name "Bardo" stands for (at least) three groups.

1. Hungarian singer-songwriter Ágnes Bárdos-Deák's latest formation, assembled for her 50th birthday. Ágnes Bárdos-Deák was an emblematic figure of the 1980's hungarian underground, this very project involves quite a bit of very well-versed musicians of that period and also some of the years later. Their album is dedicated to Judit Kakuk, founder of a big hungarian concert venue called Gödör ("Pit") Klub, who died in 2006. The whole album is downloadable from http://kontroll-csoport.hu

2. An english "One Hit Wonder" duo comprising of Sally Ann Triplett and Stephen Fischer. Their 1982 hit "One Step Further" was the UK's entry into that year's Eurovision Song Contest. They were unable to emulate the previous year's winners, Bucks Fizz, and finished in 7th position. Sally Ann has gone on to be one of the UK's leading musical theatre actresses and has played lead roles in Grease (Rizzo), Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), Acorn Antiques (Miss Berta), Chicago (Roxie) and Guys & Dolls (Miss Adelaide) among others. www.sallyanntriplett.com

3. A techno act from Uruguay who released "Jugo" in 2006 in the label "grhk.org".

4. Hungarian "deep, sad, catharsistic experimental instrumental metal" band, was formed by Khrul, who know many Black Metal project in Hungary. The music is a mixture of Hipocrisy's and Katatonia's epic sounding, and Shoegaze.
The first album entitled "I." was released by Valse Sinistre Productions
