Born and raised in the sunshine state Florida, in a city called St Augustine. My parents are both pastors. I was raised in a church which is where I first noticed my musical talent. At the age of 3 I laid my hands on my first set of drum sticks. Self taught, I was able to keep up with the melody of the piano player as well as the choir. Once I mastered the drums I tested my skills on the piano. Not knowing how to read music I just heard the sound of each key, harmonized and created my own songs. Growing older not only was I good with my hands, I also found out I could sing. In the house washing dishes with my headphones on I would put on Michael Jackson, dance & sing along as if I was on stage with him. When I started high school at St Augustine High my focus changed from music to football. I played as a safety from freshman to junior year. My senior year I was able to show my talent as the starting running back. Going undefeated all season, in the St Augustine Record every Saturday morning and making it to round 4 of the playoffs I almost thought I had to hang my cleats up until I was confronted by a recruiter from Defiance College in Defiance Ohio. Taking a 1,000 mile trip to visit the school and hang out with some of the players I made the decision to have a change in scenery and attend Defiance in the 2011 school year. During my time there I found my passion for rap. Off season I would be in my dorm with friends coming up with songs. Sometimes while I wasn’t even thinking about it, a verse would come to me out of now where and then a chorus and next thing you know I had a full song in a matter of days. Defiance College was a private school so needless to say it was quite expensive. After about a year and a half I came to the conclusion that I could not financially burden my family with a hefty $42,000 a year tuition, so I returned home to St Augustine, FL January 2013. As I settled myself back into my home town I began to work on my lyrics and performance style. I worked day and night on my first mixtape. By April 2014 I was able to land my first gig at Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville, FL. By the end of 2014 I completed my second mixtape. Summer of 2015 I performed in Miami at a small club with other underground artists so we could all show support and network. A year later, in October of 2016 I traveled to Atlanta and performed for a crowed of people and judges in order to get some exposure. I got a lot of attention from that one performance and managed to make some great connections. From then I’ve just been focusing on making good music, getting some visuals out there and making bigger and better connections. It’s currently August 2017, I am expecting my first child (my son) in December and nothing is pushing me harder to make it than he is.
