Shield the Survivors

Shield the Survivors is a metal/metalcore band from Oshkosh, WI that started in October 2011. With the common goal of making great music, Gabe Moore (Vocals) Lucas Glover (Guitar), Cody Shaw (Bass/Vocals), and David Pietila (Guitars/Vocals), Ryan Thomas (Drums) created a project to do just that. With hard hitting instrumentals, catchy chorus's and brutal screams, Shield the Survivors is a band to watch out for. Their debut EP 7:53 was released in fall of 2012 with high anticipation from fans. Their sophomore EP "Ashes" was released on March 1st, 2016. They have shared the stage with Phinehas, Broadway, Us, From Outside (Chasing Safety), Evelynn, Benevolence, The End Result, Render the Wastelands, Narrow Hearts and many more. The future looks bright for the kids from Wisconsin, constantly looking for shows, just wanting their music to be heard. Keep your eyes peeled for this young band. From October 2011 to May 2013 Tommy Bode took the reigns as the primary vocalist for the band. Tommy and the band parted ways for personal reasons with no bad blood between the two. In late August/early September 2013 Gabe Moore became the new vocalist. From September 2011 January 2017 Ben Epple was the drummer for the band. Due to Ben's lack of availability to rehearse and play shows, Ryan Thomas took over on drums in March of 2017. The band is back in full swing and writing new melodic, heavy music, better than anything they've written before. 2017 is the year for Shield the Survivors. Big things will happen, they guarantee it.
