ANDROMEDA THEORY, a Progressive Hard Rock/Alternative band based out of EL PASO, TEXAS.
What do you get when you fuse dirty Industrial sounding Alternative Rock with the technical and melodic elements of Progressive Metal? Andromeda Theory! Forged in early 2013 out of El Paso, Texas, Andromeda Theory set out to take the music industry head-on.
Both El Paso natives, Drummer Floyd Hegedorn and Guitarist Tony Gonzalez, left their previous band, Abnik, and met up with Ohio based metal guitarist Cory Suydam to form Andromeda Theory. Almost Immediately Chris Castillo met up in the mix after a previous career with the band Alodex to set down the drums and follow his heart to pursue a career as a front-man. Lastly to the band's lineup, was bassist and DJ Robert Martinez, who completed Andromeda Theory's sound with his tight, melodic and vigorous basslines. There have been several line up changes that have not stopped the band to moving and driving forward.

Andromeda Theory has since quickly gained a foothold in El Paso, TX and plans to expanded the project and have released a 6 track DEMO, a 4 track EP was released in Oct of 2014, and are currently working on a new 5 track EP to be released in Late May of 2016!! The demo release also included a music video follow up with "Land of the Lost". The 2014 EP release was also followed up with a music video for "Massacres of the Fallen".

There are quite a few festivals in 2015 that they have also been a part of, most recently ROCK THE FORT 2015, MAYHEM FEST 2015, and TEXAS TATTOO SHOWDOWN 2015.

Andromeda Theory has had some large festival appearances in 2013 & 2014. In 2013 they were invited for an appearance at both THE UNDERGROUND MASSACRE and the HELLS BELLS both at THE NILE THEATER in Mesa, AZ. They were also at the 2014 & 2015 HEART OF TEXAS ROCKFEST and RED GORILLA MUSIC FEST, which both take place during SXSW in Austin, TX! They have made local festival appearances in the 2013 WING FLING and performed in front of 1200+ in attendance.

In 2015 they released a 4 track EP that was recorded at CONTRA STUDIOS in El Paso, and was mixed and mastered by none other than NAGASAKI SOUND. Stay tuned and be ready for the new music and dates coming your way real soon for 2016!!!

They will be returning to the studio in late February to begin working on a 5 track EP to be recorded at SOUND STAGE 9 STUDIO & ARTIST DEVELOPMENT. TO BE RELEASED IN EARLY 2017!
