Amanda Torp

Her ambition and desire to forge a career as an artist led Amanda to Nashville, TN. She studied music at Belmont University earning her degree in Songwriting. Her hard work has begun paying off. With the release of her debut album, ACT I, Amanda has received international attention as an artist and a songwriter. She has most recently gotten cuts in Australia and the UK on a few up-and-coming artists. "When I'm writing, I'm not really thinking about if the song is going to be a hit or not. I write, because I want to lose myself in the song. I want to be relatable with my listeners and say something in a way that it hasn't been said before. My songs all have a dramatic side to them; whether it's a darker, sadder song or a song that's a big anthem with a heavy beat, and I think that's what keeps it fun...and that's what makes it me."
