This was not a concert. This was being invited to witness collaborative, genius, soulful artists make magic happen. What a privilege to see these amazing front-women — and the generous, talented musicians who accompanied them — ignite each other with their art and passion. Together they gave voice to deeply personal and widely resonate messages that translate time and culture, yet are so relevant and important for today. So intimate, authentic, empathetic... and somehow still joyous. And the music!!! When I wasn’t grinning, or holding back an “amen”, it was because I’d just had my breath taken away.

Fantastic venue and performance. This band is worth seeing. It was so intimate at cafe Lena and the acoustics were spot on as was their voices and guitar rifts. It was my first time there but I will be back.

They always put on a good show. Was really cute to hear how much tougher it was on them than their daughter to leave her behind. Can’t believe she’s already in kindergarten. Yep, we sorta feel like members of the family.
