About this concert
As a die hard music theatre fan plays a record of his favourite show, the fictional 1928 musical “The Drowsy Chaperone” springs to life. This joyous parody of musical comedy won five Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards for its premiere season in 1998. One for the whole family. Led by an exceptional creative team including Alister Smith (director), David Young (Musical Director) and Dana Jolly (choreographer), this performance is a collaboration between students from Music Theatre, Production and the MCM.We strongly encourage registration for all of our events. This guarantees your seat at an event and allows us to communicate any unforseen event scheduling changes with you. Please note, tickets are required for entry to pay events. There are no refunds available on tickets for events run by the Faculty of VCA & MCM .
