About
Ian Anderson and the Tull band celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the formation of one of the world’s most successful and enduring Progressive Rock bands.

The Jethro Tull brand has endured to this day and as writer, producer, flautist, vocalist and occasional guitarist, Anderson performs with the band typically 80 – 100 shows each year in many countries of the world.

This anniversary concert will feature a broad mix of material, some of it focussing on the earlier formative period through to the later “heavy hitters” of the Tull catalogue.

Accompanied by Tull band muscians David Goodier (bass), John O’Hara (keyboards), Florian Opahle (guitar), Scott Hammond (drums) and surprise virtual guests, Ian Anderson begins the 2018 touring schedule in the UK.

This is a seated show.

Ian did a nice trip down memory lane. Really liked the site. Starlight Theatre and Red Rocks are two of my favorite venues.
It was a concert where musicians played with their instruments. Then they played music

What a great venue...The State (capacity 2100) was completely sold out ,and Ian didn't disappoint...Past members introduced the songs on a video screen behind the band...(the one negative for me, the hanging speakers partially obstructed my view of the screen) ... Ian's voice isn't what it was but at 73 I thought he did fine...Wish that Martin was still around but....the concert and venue get a solid 4 1/2 out of 5 go see its!!! thanks Jethro Tull...hope to see you next year!!!

Great sound, good show in spite of the rain. Venue logistics are terrible though.

I haven’t seen a concert this great in years! The band was fantastic and Ian never sounded better! I saw them back in 1973 and his flute playing is just as beautiful now as it was then!❤️❤️❤️
