Emma Di Marco Biography

Emma is a passionate and dedicated Australian musician, educator,
and advocate for Australian music. She maintains an active portfolio
career with performance and teaching engagements and is
regularly working with leading musicians, composers, and
researchers across the country. As a Wind specialist, she is often
engaged in performance on saxophone, clarinet, and/or flute.
Emma completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Musicology in 2016.
She is a committee member of the Queensland Clarinet and
Saxophone Society and recently was the coordinator for the 2017
Queensland Clarinet and Saxophone Competition. Emma is a
founding member of leading chamber music ensemble, the Barega
Saxophone Quartet, who released their debut album in 2015. She
is also an endorsed artist with D’Addario Woodwinds.
