UV boys

Carson Hoy and Hunter Harding are Cloverdale BC's own fun loving hip hop duo "uv boys" a cross between Tyler, the Creator, Ice Cube and Drake, uv blends catchy pop hooks with outrageous, yet relatable lyrics. The uv boys use social media to interact with their fan base in their own self-filmed music videos showing life in Cloverdale, their crazy party experiences and even puppetry. They've gained lots of attention in the lower mainland with social media stunts like a live streamed ticket giveaway for a popular music festival gaining over 80,000 views, tripling their following in a matter of days and an anthem for the famous Cloverdale Rodeo which gained thousands of views for it's raw lyrics about the hometown event for local teenagers. Their latest project "LANES" gained attention through Facebook with the pop single "Slow Lane" which saw airplay on Vancouver radio. The uv boys came together while throwing illegal house parties in highschool, where Hunter would plan and Carson would DJ with his crew Deth Klown. These wild parties led to a song titled "F This House Up" which tells true stories of their beginnings and whose lyrics are sure to be yelled out at uv performances this summer.
