Seth Cook Biography

Seth Cook is the complete talent package. He’s a Singer, Songwriter, and Musician, but most importantly, he’s an Entertainer. His music is a retro-influenced, multi-genre bending blend, drawing from the musical styles of Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Prince, and Michael Jackson.

Seth grew up in the small town of Yorktown, Indiana. He began his musical career at the young age of 4, sharing the stage with his parent’s touring group. His first instrument was the drums and then he moved on to play guitar at the age of 15.

The guitar gave Seth a passion for writing his own material. He signed his first publishing deal at the age of 20. Shortly after making the move to Nashville, Seth began writing songs for what would become his first official release, a 6 song EP in 2015. Enlisting the help of Grammy-nominated and multi #1 producer Matt McClure, Seth found someone who understood his vision, allowing him to explore his creative freedom and develop his own unique sound.

Seth has logged countless hours on the stage headlining venues throughout the Midwest and continues to grow his fan base playing fairs, festivals, theatres and clubs all over the country. “I love playing shows for the fans. My first love is the stage. It’s in my blood, my DNA. It’s my home away from home.”...says Seth. Seth has opened for Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Josh Turner, and many more. He played lead guitar for Brett Young on the Thomas Rhett Life Changes Tour, which included national TV appearances on the TODAY Show, Ellen, and the Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve In Nashville on NBC. Seth also shared the stage playing drums for Vince Gill and lead guitar for Eric Paslay, Rhett Akins & Julie Roberts.

Seth’s recent EP Sleep Is Not an Option along with his previous single “Slippin’’ has gained over 1.4 million streams. His music has been featured on Wild Country, New Boots, New Music Nashville, Next From Nashville and Country Rocks Playlists on Spotify. His music has also appeared on Apple Music’s Cool Country Playlist. Seth’s current single “Lipstick” is the first of 6 single releases slated for 2020.
