Whoa! Where do I start? 😬😂. This was one of the more entertaining shows I’ve ever seen. But not necessarily for the right reasons. Overall the show turned out to be really good with a lot of cool energy. However, it started off rocky to say the least. There had been some technical sound issues with the opening band which seemed to have been worked out. Well, as soon as Nikki’s band got on stage and plugged in, the glitches reappeared. They worked in it for about 10 min then decided to pushed on. It wasn’t the best decision. The next few songs sounded pretty horrible and Nikki’s frustration certainly showed. I could see things brewing until she hopped off stage and got into the face of the house’s sound tech and literally ran him off, never to return. I didn’t appreciate that sort of behavior from an artist. I didn’t care who you are, you don’t rip some dude who’s basically volunteering his time. If you want the sound to be perfect every night, travel with your own sound tech and equipment. End the end, Some guy from the crowd took over the sound board and got things fixed pretty well considering the circumstance. After this point the energy in the club picked and everyone was having a good time. Nikki did a song sitting on the end of the stage with her acoustic and no mic. Very intimate and powerful. The evening ended with both bands up on stage rockin out and sending the crowd home pleased.

It was awesome to be able to see this show up close and personal- and it was free- which is crazy considering Nikki and the bands’ talent! It seems like this was the second week of the venue being open so it is basically a complex of bars/restaurants with a center outdoor stage in the middle. Excellent sound. All I can say is if ya snoozed ya lost! I’m so glad I caught wind of the show in time to be able to check out the last five songs and encore. Nikki made sure to greet everyone that lined up personally and took the time to take photos, sign autographs and be gracious and charming. Won’t ever forget the experience. Hope she comes back to Wichita, KS and avoids the shady biker bar she played that one time 🤓

Second time seeing her, and she's the best performer I've ever seen.
