Corrupt The System Biography

Corrupt The System is Neil Parkinson, Adam McSherry, Paul McAllister and Gary Hughes. Founded in February of 2013 by Adam and Neil they started off playing cover songs by the likes of Stone Sour and System of a Down as a three piece with a couple of different bass players but quickly moved forward in writing their own songs and staging electric performances around Glasgow and Edinburgh, after a year as a three piece and a couple of line up changes later they recruited Gary on bass guitar and he fit the bill perfectly with the precision of Les Claypool and the sheer ferocity of Cliff Burton, after seeing him play just once they knew they needed him in. From there they were looking for another guitarist to add to the mix and after seeing Paul performing with another band it only made sense that he joined, with the presence of the likes of Mick Thomson, the riffing power of Sepultura and the guttural screams of Robb Flynn, Paul was the last piece of the puzzle that is Corrupt The System. Now with a strong line up they fiercely dominated stages around Scotland in venues such as The Classic Grande, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Audio and Bannerman’s in Glasgow and Edinburgh supporting bands like One Machine, Kobra And The Lotus, Bags of Rock and Tygers of Pan Tang, also tearing up the stage at the Wildfire Festival, and at a festival with Corrupt The System around the party is never far away. The next logical step for the band was hitting the studio and recording a full length album, after working with Sandy Jones in The Foundry Music Lab on the songs Temptations of Anarchy and The world in 2014 it only made sense to work with him again to produce the bands full length debut studio album “Game Over” which was released on the 24th of September 2016. After the release of the album the band have gone from strength to strength spreading like fire and are hoping to tour in the summer of 2017. "If, like me, you like a good, loud Thrash band, then do yourself a favour, and check this lot out." - Johnny Main (metaltalk.net 2014) This is the official page of Corrupt The System.
