There are plenty of people who can write, act and sing, but few can do all three as well as Kris Kristofferson. He’s written many of your favorite songs, even if you may not know it: “Me and Bobby McGee,” “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down” and “Once More with Feeling.” Add to that an impressive acting resume that includes Heaven's Gate, and A Star Is Born, for which he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor, it’s easy to see how he’s managed to transcend all arts. Retaining his ruggedly handsome looks, the singer still is churning out solid music, with his last album, 2016’s The Cedar Creek Sessions, earning him a Grammy nod for Best Americana Album. Now 81, the grizzled troubadour’s laid-back swagger and crooning will remind folks why he’s one of the best songwriters of all time.

A very enjoyable concert! Kristofferson performed his best known songs and it was obvious that he was enjoying doing it. It was great seeing him back on the stage! This venue was very nice, also. It was very comfortable and clean.

Kris sounds great and his songs are very poetic. The venue was ok and the crowd was ok. Maybe a standing room setting like the Filmore might have been more intimate and given off more energy.
