The Outcome Biography

www.theoutcomeband.bandcamp.co www.theoutcome.com.au www.twitter.com/TheOutcome2012 www.facebook.com/TheOutcome2012. Like cockroaches re-emerging from the nuclear winter of the Coffs Coast music scene, hard rock/metal misfits The Outcome have spawned a brutal new tinnitus-inducing chapter in their decade-long existence. 'The End' is a 3-track EP that will leave you bruised yet salivating for another slap in the chops. It’s been four whole years since their self-titled EP was released, four whole years since that EPIC launch at the Hoey Moey. Not only are these dudes four years older… they’re three years ANGRIER! During this time they’ve had some good luck and more than their share of bad but their commitment to the band as not wavered. They’re longevity is a decent feat for five proud, stubborn guys juggling life, work, music and 12 kids (Outcomelets) between them. The five-piece has been prolific in their search for alternative rock perfection, as evidenced by their massive catalogue of demo songs over the last 24 months. The problem is narrowing that list of massive, riff-heavy, melodic, abrasive goodness into a blueprint for the next EP. “It’s extremely frustrating listening to our Soundcloud demos,” said bassist Tommy Wainwright. “The amount of catchy tunes and evil riffs we’ve written is just ridiculous. Some never to see the light of day.” “It’s almost impossible to agree on which ones we should record. But we’re getting closer.” Among the new demos, several have made recent set lists and have been well received by punters. “New tunes The End and Burning Cage have been particular favourites for us. Heavy, dirty, extremely fun to play and unmistakably The Outcome.” It was a no-brainer that these tunes made the cut. A third track, and live favourite 'Watching' was pulled from the archives to complete the EP, receiving updated treatment and a new level of heavy! Recorded in Newcastle during a June 2016 bender with the little master Mitta Norath, the result is exactly what they needed. HEAVY! While the new EP is a much more brutal affair that the last, most likely much less ‘listenable’ too… you won’t be getting any apologies from The Outcome. In fact if you kick up a stink… the next one will probably be louder and scarier again. Now piss off! Hard rock/metal from Coffs Harbour NSW Australia... New EP 'The End' now available through Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes & more!
