The evening is a fundraiser for Borderland Brawlers Roller Derby Team and is Free Entry, so bring them a donation for their collection. Sweet. Party time! The focus this year is sweet punk/folk acoustic – a lovely intimate gig in a great boozer! Simon Wells and Carol Hodge! Simon who many will know as a founding member of Snuff and Southport, has just released his first solo album ‘Crime of the Scene’ to rapturous approval. Simon will be performing with musical accomplice Carol Hodge who plays keys with Steve Ignorants Slice of Life, not to mention being an incredible solo artist in her own right. Support comes from Sheffields Lily Gaskell and her Folk Punk stylings. Local talent Chez Lee starts the party so don't be a mug."
