Sleaze: immoral, sordid, and corrupt behavior or material.
No band epitomizes Hollywood sleaze more than Faster Pussycat. Countless bandshave adopted their look and demeanor in order to try and ride the Hollywoodwave to success. Most fail. For those bands it’s a costume…an act. For FasterPussycat it’s a way of life. They said it best in their own song “Sex, drugs & Rockn-Roll”off their 2006 album “The Power and the Glory Hole”. However don’t bemistaken, they are much more than an image. First and foremost they are a rockn roll band that has put out consistently great records and given it all on stage, where it counts the most.
Singer Taime Downe formed the band in 1985, taking its name from the cultclassic Russ Meyer film Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! In 1987 they released their selftitleddebut album which went gold. The album was loaded with sexualinnuendo and bravado and struck a nerve in the glam rock community, thoughthey were always a little more down and dirty than glam. During that time theywere interviewed and played two songs (Cathouse and Bathroom Wall) in thedocumentary film “The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years. The documentary captured the general vibe of the Sunset Strip bands during thattime period, with Faster Pussycat being featured front and center. In 1989 they released the album “Wake me when it’s over”, which spawned themassive top 25 hit single “House of Pain” propelling them beyond the sunset stripto worldwide acclaim. They received substantial airtime on MTV for the videoand toured with some of the biggest bands in history: Guns n Roses, Motorhead,Motley Crue, Kiss, Alice Cooper and many more. They were able to reach fans allacross the world and the sunset strip seemed endless as fans clamored for a tasteof the famed Faster Pussycat sleaze. The album went gold and to this day manyhail “House of Pain” as one of the greatest power ballads of all time. The band’sline-up during this time was Taime Downe (vocals), Greg Steele (guitar), BrentMuscat (guitar), Kelly Nickels (bass) and Mark Michaels (drums). In 1992 the band released the album Whipped and toured in support of it.Following the tour the band broke up, with each member heading in separatemusical directions.
Taime Downe decided to go in a more industrial rock direction working with theband Pigface before forming the band the Newlydeads. The Newlydeads put out three albums. Their self-titled debut, a remix albumtitled “Re-bound” and “Dead End”.
In 2001 Taime Downe decided it was time to get Faster Pussycat back together togive the world another dose of the Hollywood Sleaze that had all but disappearedduring the grunge era. Muscat and Steele rejoined the band along with TheNewlydeads Xristian Simon, Danny Nordahl and Chad Stewart.Faster Pussycat quickly put out a collection of industrial remixes of the band’searly songs produced by Downe and played to enthusiastic crowds around theworld. During this time Muscat and Steele left again.
2006 saw the band’s first full-length release in 14 years, “The Power & The GloryHole” and proved that under Taime’s leadership the band was in good hands.2009 saw the release of a live album “Front Row for the Donkey Show”. Bothwere put out by Full Effect and the reviews were positive. In 2010 guitarist Ace Von Johnson joined Faster Pussycat cementing the currentline-up. The interjection of fresh blood into the band was immediately noticeableas his youthful high energy and virtuoso performance rejuvenated the band andtheir live performances. It was like 1987 again.
Faster Pussycat is currently working on a new EP and doing what they’ve alwaysdone, touring heavily, rocking the fuck out of every venue they play and keepingthe spirit of Hollywood Sleaze alive and well.
The Midnight Devils
The Midnight Devils are a high energy glam slam boogie woogie rock n roll band out of Omaha, NE. Featuring current members of the 80's hair band 3D In Your Face, The Midnight Devils are Sniper, Sam Spade, and Jimmy Mess. Touring in support of their latest album Lost in the Volume, which was released in May 2016. The Nebraska boys play loud, dirty, heart-and-soul rock n roll. It's the look and feel of Alice Cooper and Motley Crue mixed with the boogie woogie of Elvis Presley.

Saints Of Lust
Saints of Lust’s sound is a collaborative mix from the individual influences of each of the Saint’s members. A wide array of punk, metal, pop, and 70’s influenced hooks, the Saint’s strive to bring an element to their music that reflects the emotion and excitement of the song’s storyline. Tales of the After, the Saint’s newest release features a mix of driving rhythms, storyteller-like lyrics, and enough hooks to catch the ear of anyone who enjoys the elements of a great rock record. Officially released on October 31, 2015, Tales offers a more sophisticated sound & songwriting effort from the band. A departure from the Saint’s debut EP with punk and metal influences, Tales features a more polished approach to their sound. The 5 song EP features a sixth bonus track that is only available on the compact disc version. This latest collection features hard driving tunes such as “What Are You Waiting For” with a nod to the 70’s punk movement and a tip of the hat to John Lydon’s lyrical sneering. “Bullet for Your Thoughts” is a trek straight into the mind of a mental patient gone awry and “Tonight”, a twist on the subject of love & death entwined.Striving for a bolder yet more advanced sound on this collection of tunes, the group melded hook-filled melodies with hard and heavy beats to bring you songs like “Destruction” that still drive home that underlying hard rock thump but include a layered, more melodic touch where you’ll find the catchy melody setting up shop in your brain and spending the weekend.
Saints of Lust was formed in the summer of 2010. Founding member, Greg Turner came up with the name while on the highway to a show in Kansas City, MO. “I originally wanted to call the band M*therF*cker, but got talked out of it”, he laughs, “Although it would make a great album title”. The group’s debut EP, Rockstars and Dollparts, was released in July of 2014 and included fan favorites Midnight Christ, Believe and Knucklebone. The band aims to launch a new release each year along with several supporting music videos for each. Songs for the third cd have already been started with more ideas always in motion.
