Vancouver's Queer Long Weekend Jam is back at Fortune Sound Club for an extra special PRIDE SUNDAY!

To celebrate Babes on Babes: Pride Edition, we are bringing you 10 international & local Queer, Lesbian & Trans Deejays, 4 different party rooms with 4 different vibes including house, hiphop, trap, 90s & y2k jams, dancehall, bass music and breaks, 3 bars serving up special babes shots, cocktails and beer, Gogo dancers and Queer talent!

For the first time ever we are opening up "middle earth" a secret level in Fortune with rad artwork, a bar, lots of chill space and more facilities.

VON KISS (Los Angeles)

Von Kiss is a DJ that can move the masses. Based out of LA with residencies in Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco, Von Kiss stays busy. She has held her own sharing stages with fellow DJs/Artists: Skrillex, Brillz, Carnage, Mija, Snails, Stooki Sounds, Prince Fox, Fedde Le Grand, Loudpvck, 6Blocc, Caspa, Redman, Barrington Levy, Snoop Dogg, Rye Rye, Brenmar, Jubilee, Dave Nada, Maluca Mala... to name a few.

Von Kiss has talent that comes from years of rocking shows all across the globe. From intimate undergrounds to massive Festivals, Von knows how to set the mood and when to set it off.


MS JACKSON (San Francisco)

Ms. Jackson is one quarter DJ, one quarter music head, one quarter DRTYBTCH and one quarter FOR REAL! She's been rocking the turntables at some of the best parties and venues in San Francisco including; Cockblock, MANimal, Switch, Trap City, QBar, Beaux, Bruno's, Public Works, Audio, The Cellar. From SF to LA to NYC she brings the heat because of undying love of music.


CHINA G (San Francisco)

Native to California and raised in San Francisco Elyssa Pon aka DJ China G has been a DJ and club promoter in the LGBTQ community for 17 + years. The International DJ is the co-founder/ promoter and DJ of the renowned queer party Rebel Girl from 2000-2009. Rebel Girl was voted Best of the Bay in 2002 for the Best place to see Hot Chicks Dance. DJ China G has also been featured in the San Francisco Bay Guardian and SF Weekly magazines.

Spinning for Vancouver Pride from 2010-2017, she also had the honor to spin for the 1st Women’s stage for SF Pride, San Francisco Dyke March DJ Truck for Pink Saturday-SF Pride, San Francisco Dyke March 2015 & 2016, SF LGBT Community Center’s Soiree 8th Year Anniversary, The World Famous Dinah Shore Weekend 2017, and continues to DJ for the LGBTQ scene in the bay area at parties like Vice Tuesdays, UHAUL SF, Bad Habits, Kool-Aid, Hot Toddy, Swagger Like Us, Cockblock, She Said, XO, Cotton Pony, LIPS, Fingerbang, Ships in the Night, Pussy Party, Gold Star, Rebound, iCandy,The Port Bar & White Horse (Oakland) Fantasy Fridays (Los Angeles)


DJ KRISTA (Vancouver)

A talented DJ and photographer, DJ Krista spends her time capturing moments both on the dance floor and behind the camera. In place of Alex D, who will not be able to make it due to passport issues, Krista will be playing a super sweet throwback/Top 40/ House set in the Boom Box room. IG: djkristam


MOLLY FI (Calgary)

Dubbed Calgary's first lady of Breaks and founder of the Girls On Decks DJ Collective, MollyFi has her priorities dialled in. Providing soundscapes all over Southern Alberta, Interior BC and the Prairies Molly has spent the better part of the last ten years breaking down borders and setting the stage for Female Djs.

Known for her innovative mixing styles and her flawless blends of Pop influenced broken beats, MollyFi will take you on an upbeat musical trip with vocals and bass and bouncy beats.



Kasha Kennedy has been internationally elevating the music and DJ world for the last ten years. Producing and remixing her own Deep House / Future House / & EDM sounds. Kasha Kennedy’s mixes have been heard across the world, and are guaranteed to keep your booty shakin’.

SKYLAR LOVE (Vancouver)

Dedicated to the beat movement Sky has no borders when it comes to delivering the hype. Trekking from the beautiful mountains of British Columbia this beat bandit has made their sound heard on a global intercom. With worldly music selection and innovative mixes Sky has brought every inner ear a dance rhythm and a floor sweep.

Inspired by underground rave parties they attended in the 90’s Sky picked up their first set of turntables at the age of 15. Since then, they've witnessed the evolution of DJing and electronic music for over a decade and bring in the elements of old school and new school to their DJ sets.

Influenced by Deep House, Bass music and Hiphop, this renegade DJ has love for all genres which is revealed through their original mashups and remixes. Skylar is a strong advocate on breaking barriers for queer DJs and has traveled all over headlining in major cities including Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Atlanta, San Francisco and Oakland. Skylar shows versatility through imaginative style and sound over live performances and recorded DJ sets. The mission is to take you on a musical journey of different beats, rhythms and sounds through the medium of freestyle mixing.





CHO CHA (Vancouver)

Cho Cha is recognized as one of Vancouver's top female DJs. She's played at all the hottest nightclubs and venues in many cities around the world from Canada to the United States all the way to Taipei, Taiwan. She’s DJ’d for the likes of Justin Bieber, Djimon Hounsou & Vancouver Canucks. Cho Cha is also one of the veteran DJs from the “Lick Club days” starting back in 2003.


ETHAN (Vancouver)

Ethan has been an elusive member of the community performing and spinning for over a decade.

Babes on Babes is held on occupied Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish Peoples. This includes the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, Stó:lo &Tsleil-Waututh nations.



Please remember: consent is sexy… and mandatory. Leave your oppressive & non inclusive behaviour at the door. The Buddy System will be in effect. Our buddy will be wearing a bright yellow shirt. They will have bottled water handy for you, run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention and generally serve as go-to support should any problems or questions arise.

While we cannot encourage the use of recreational drugs, we understand that folks have a variety of ways they like to party. We will have someone trained to administer NARCAN (available at this event) in the event of an opiate overdose.



A portion of proceeds from this event will be going to local Queer services. Details of donation will be announced after the event takes place. Stay tuned!

Venue is not wheelchair accessible, and not scent reduced.

Due to the nature of the venue, and the many different kinds of events that happen at Fortune throughout the week, we are unable to ensure this will be a scent reduced space. We ask event guests to refrain from using chemically scented body products for this event.

Venue entrance is just above sidewalk level, via a short ramp (9” rise by 30” depth). Entrance doorway is 38” wide.

ATM is just to the left inside front entrance, with 36” high keypad.

There are 4 sets of steps to the main floor where the event takes place, with landings separating each set of steps. There is a 32” high railing the entire way. Three steps to first landing (landing is 64”x70”), 11 steps to next landing (59”x60”), 5 steps to next landing (60”x60”), and 10 more steps to main floor.

Coat check counter is 40” high.

Bar is 43” high.

There is one wheelchair accessible single stall washroom equipped with a 36” high grab bar. This washroom is usually locked; key is available at bar. The doorway is 35” wide; light switch 49” high; sink is 32.5” high and 19” deep with lever faucets; push soap dispenser 53” high on wall, toilet paper dispenser 30” high.

The washroom usually marked “women’s” (all genders for this event) has 35” entrance doorway, with 5 stalls, each with 22” doorways. There are 4 sinks, 36” high and 26” deep with lever faucets. Two push soap dispensers 56” high on wall. Two automatic hand dryers 39” high.

The washroom usually marked “men’s” (all genders for this event) has 36” entrance doorway, and a short hallway that turns a corner. There is one stall with 22” doorway, and 3 urinals, 21”, 25”, and 25” high respectively. Two sinks 35” high by 16” deep, with push timer faucets. Push soap 50” high, automatic hand dryer 43” high.

The Livestock Room (Body Party room for this event) and The Karaoke Room (hip hop room for this event) each have 33” doorway entrances.

There is a raised seating and bar area in the centre of the main room, with ramp access from the front (4.5" rise by 36" depth), and steps on each side.
