Flawless performance from the best band out of Scotland. They were every bit as good as I'd hoped. Bruce & Jamie Watson played every note every bit as well as the late Stuart Adamson (RIP), my guitar hero and inspiration. Bill Simpson gave a master class performance on bass, and a thoroughly nice bloke too (as were all the guys). Richard Jobson sang as if his life, and the lives of everyone present, depended upon it, with unbelievably boundless energy throughout the set. What a mover..! And Not forgetting Mike Baillie, a superb drummer who was constantly being asked to sign pictures of his predecessors, Tam Kellichan and Rusty Egan. He handled this with great sense of humour! The set was amazing, they played all the songs a 14 year old (now 52 year old) Skids fan would be hoping for. "The Saints are Coming", what a tune! "Scared to Dance" poignant and beautiful, "Masquerade" melted into "Into the Valley" a perfect gig!!! Oh and....Albert Tatlock (TV Stars) to boot...brilliant!!!!!! Thanks guys.
