The Psychedelic Shadow Show

The Psychedelic Shadow Show brings to fans young and old the music of the Hippie Era...the truly Psychedelic Years of 1965 to 1972. Our mission from Day One was to cover the best artists of the era, but to distinguish ourselves from the plethora of other cover bands by playing the more sophisticated, less covered and juicier tunes that you just don’t hear live. For example, we play Cream, but instead of the over-played White Room and Sunshine of Your Love, we do Tales of Brave Ulysses and She Was Like a Bearded Rainbow. We first began playing around Puget Sound in Spring 2012. Very quickly, we found that there was not only a gigantic appetite for this music, but that people of ALL ages were hungry for it. We have played shows in Tacoma, Seattle and Olympia...most notably at the Central in Pioneer Square, opening for the Andy Coe Band in Olympia, two years running at Oysterfest and about to play our third year at the Artswalk Olympia. The Psychedelic Shadow Show is also available for private parties, our schedule permitting.
