Chase Mitchell Biography

Atlanta native Chase Mitchell is no stranger to the music industry. At age nine, he was tapped by Maurice Starr (New Kids on the Block, Menudo, New Edition) to be the front man of his newest Boy Band project called Lucky. “He [Starr] called the house and I thought it was a prank, so I hung up on him twice.” Said Chase’s mother. While with Lucky, Chase worked closely with Radio Disney, and opened for major acts including OutKast, Destany’s Child, and Vitamin-C. At 15, Chase moved to Nashville to pursue a solo career. Not old enough to drive, Chase spent his days walking up and down music row with a briefcase full of demos, knocking on the door of every label and talent agency he could find. After almost a year, his hard work paid off and Chase signed to Buddy Lee Entertainment with Tony Conway as his agent. Conway has worked with some of the biggest names in Country Music, including Garth Brooks, Dixie Chicks, George Strait and Jason Aldean. Chase spent the next half decade playing 200+ dates per year. He has opened for Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert and many more. In 2005 Chase was admitted to the CMA as the youngest member in the history of the organization at the time. Chase left Nashville for LA in 2010 to work on a new project with several producers including Grammy winner Dave Cobb. In 2012, Chase decided to take a break from music and pursue his other dream of being a husband and a father. He married the girl of his dreams and moved back to Atlanta to start his family. Chase and his wife Jacqueline have one daughter who is now three years old. In 2016, at the encouragement of his wife, Chase returned to music and is currently working on a new album.
