Aymber Biography
"I try to keep my music as honest as possible, I want people to know exactly who I am, just by listening to one of my songs."
Aymber has been writing since she picked up her pawn shop guitar back in 2012.
"I spent my last check on a guitar I saw hanging in the window of a pawn shop and I never put it down".
She taught herself how to play and wrote her first song the day she brought her guitar home. Being the shy girl that she was, Aymber wasn't ready to sing in public yet, so she bought a webcam, made a YouTube account and learned to play some of her favorite songs. Although she'd been singing, since before she could talk according to her mother, she didn't think anyone would listen. The more videos she put up the more subscribers and views she began to get and the more she started thinking to herself that she could actually do this.
2 months after posting her first YouTube video (with a little push from her family and friends) she decided to go to a local open mic, a tiny brewery in Davie, FL.
"It was small, cramped, and everyone seemed too into their own conversations to care about who was behind the mic. About half way through my first song I noticed how quiet it was in the room, complete silence, I was terrified. When the song was over and I finally got my nerves in check and opened my eyes, everyone was on their feet, cheering for me, that gave me the confidence I needed to keep going"
Aymber is still writing and performing all around Florida and plans on having an EP out by the end of 2014 or early 2015. In addition to pursuing her own career, she is also a backup singer in a Country-Rock band (The Ciara Rae Band) where she has had the opportunity to open for and meet many amazing country artists like Love & Theft and Charlie Worsham. She has also gotten to play at some great venues such as; The West Palm Beach Ampitheater, The Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL (5 TIMES!), Cowboys Saloon, Round-up, and many more.
"Music makes me happy, that's why I started doing it, but the fact that people listen and respond to my music, my lyrics, that's what keeps me going & that's why I'll never stop".
