The Sophisticats

The Sophisticats' is a six piece band consisting of Lead Vocals, Piano, Double Bass, Drums and a Two piece Brass section. Our live act recreates for you the exuberance and glamour of the Jazz Age - think one part Great Gatsby, one part 'Rat Pack' , one part Postmodern Jukebox with 'vintage takes' on more contemporary artists as diverse as Guns and Roses, Michael Jackson and Rihanna! High energy, unforgettable and filled with Swing and Latin beats, our set is guaranteed to keep the dance floor full all night!

We pride ourselves on our professionalism: our line-up are all highly trained and experienced musicians who between them have played at prestigious events such as: European Jazz Festival, Sligo Jazz Festival and Cork Jazz Festival among others. Members have also played with successful bands and Artists such as Hot House Flowers, The Bentley Boys, Hozier, Supertonic Orchestra and Superfly.
