Hide Your Eyes Biography

Hide Your Eyes are a dynamic dual vocal 5-piece rock band from the Anglo-Welsh border city of Hereford.

Each member of the band derives from differing musical backgrounds and styles, meaning that the individual contribution each member makes to the writing and performance process directly results in the unique and eclectic Hide Your Eyes sound. The final product is a collection of dynamic tunes with catchy choruses and compelling verses, tied together with unbeatable bandmate chemistry.

Kindled in the summer of 2015 following a pub discussion, Hide Your Eyes began officially during a social gathering at AR Studios in Hereford later that year. Great synergy between the writing styles of Steve, Ryan, Dom and Lew formed the foundations of ‘Just Another Memory’, a fast-paced melodic rap/hard rock song, practically finished in a single all-night writing/recording session.

Hide Your Eyes continued to work from AR Studios throughout the remainder of 2015 and were fortunate enough to record additional material at legendary Rockfield Studios with established producer Nick Brine in the December of that year. The album neared completion around February 2016 and Hide Your Eyes performed their first live show on April 1st, presented and promoted at The Booth Hall in Hereford by local promoter ‘HeyLittleMonster’.

Since their first performance, Hide Your Eyes have played at a multitude of venues across the West Midlands and South Wales with a album promotional tour scheduled for the summer of 2017. Hide Your Eyes released their debut album ‘40 Miles Of Static’ on February 18th 2017 to a large hometown crowd at The Booth Hall. The album can be purchased from most online digital outlets, with physical copies available from the band’s official Big Cartel store (http://www.hideyoureyes.bigcartel.com). Hide Your Eyes songs have been played to a wide audience on over 25 commercial and independent radio stations across the country
and abroad.
