Chorlton Country Club

2017 has seen Lauren Housley and the band play many prestigious festivals and this concert will finish off Lauren's and Town Hall Lives' year.The five piece band will play a Chorlton Country Club set and finish off with a Lauren Housley set. CCC play Americana and LHB play blues-soul, both styles suit Lauren's voice perfectly. Lauren is undoubtedly the main focus, with her magnetic personality and her voice, which is perfectly suited to the blues and soul inflected songs that she and Thomas Dibb (guitars) write.Live Lauren is simply breath taking, not only has she a powerful voice, but her vocals come direct from the heart and soul. Seeing her live allows you to fully appreciate the fullness and texture of her sound. She has a warm, intense and enjoyable style that is all her own.The band also features Chris Hillman on pedal steel, dobro and mandolin. Chris was voted Musician of the Year at this year's UK Americana Awards ceremony.
