Evil United Biography

“Fall to your knees and repent if you please!” If you’re hungering for a new metallic attack on your brain, get ready to sink your teeth into “Evil United!” Made up of Broken Teeth, Riot and Murderdolls members, EU will definitely quench the thirst on your heavy metal pallet and make you wanna gargle nails and then spit them out with AK-47 intensity impaling non-believers! These Texas metal outlaws are ready to begin their ear assault on the masses with there just released full length self titled debut CD “Evil United” and features the throat of Jason McMaster on vocals (Broken Teeth, Watchtower, Dangerous Toys) the earthquake rhythm section of Don Van Stavern (Riot, S.A.Slayer) on bass and Shakes West (Murderdolls, Neurotica, Sebastian Bach) on drums and rounding out the evilness are the speed picking twin axe attack of guitarists T.C. Connally (PB/DC, Cult to Follow) and John Valenzuela (PB/DC, Urial). Evil United represent what people expect from the Lone Star state, Intricate, heavy pounding rhythms with fast screeching guitar solos and over the top power screaming vocals! Pantera, Rigor Mortis, The Sword, Watchtower, S.A. Slayer, Helstar and Drowning Pool just to name a few and now….We are Evil United! All Hail (or maybe Hell!) The Lone Star state! Austinite via Corpus Christi native, vocalist Jason McMaster was a founding member of Prog metal pioneers Watchtower as well as Broken Teeth and Dangerous Toys and is no stranger to the heavy metal scene. Jason has toured the world for the CBS label and has shared the stage with, you name it and has had numerous video appearances on MTV, VH1 and the Canadian Fuse network. Jason was the throat on the debut Watchtower classic Energetic Disassembly and had Gold Sales Awards presented to Dangerous Toys and was also inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame (other Hall of Famers include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Willie Nelson, Gibby Haynes, Doug Sahm and many other Texas song writers and legendary artists). “J-Mac” hosted The Hard Show (Heavy Metal/Punk Video Show) for the Austin Music Network and a staff vocal instructor at the Austin Branch of "The Paul Green School of Rock Music". Jason also was a guest speaker to University of Texas music class (Austin Live Music Academy, class modeled after "Inside the Actor's Studio" on Bravo) and remember thy screamer is Pastor McMaster from the Church of Disaster... AMEN! San Antonio native, bassist Don “DVS” Van Stavern was a founding member of the Texas metal Gods Slayer and handles bass duties for NYC metal legends Riot. DVS appeared on the debut cult Slayer classic Prepare to Die featuring Dave McClain (MachineHead, Sacred Reich) and the Riot classic Thundersteel featuring drummer Bobby Jarzombek (Halford, Fates Warning, Riot) and includes Don’s song Flight of the Warrior which appears on the new Hammerfall CD! “DVS” recorded and toured the world for the CBS/ Sony label with European Festival appearances sharing the stage with the likes of Heaven and Hell, Kiss, Saxon to name a few and was part of this year’s Riot Thundersteel Reunion tour. DVS has his songs featured in the motion pictures Disturbing Behavior, Saw, Scary Movie and Friday the 13th. DVS has appeared in videos on MTV, VH1 as well as the Fox and Fuse networks. DVS = bass in yer face! Chicago native, skin basher Jason “Shakes” West was a member of Ozz-Fest alumni band “Neurotica” (featuring vocalist Kelly Schaffer from Atheist) in which he toured in support of their WWE Records self-titled debut release with video appearances on Headbangers Ball and the Fuse network. Shakes also bashes skins in Joey Jordison’s (Slipknot, Rob Zombie) band Murderdolls and for The Sebastian Bach Band on the Guns n’ Roses Australian and Japanese 2011 Tour. “Shakes” drumming has been described as “heavy, solid, flashy and bass drums that will double kick your ass….” OKC native, lead guitarist T.C. “Bird” Connally was a founding member of metal –industrial hell raisers “PB/DC” in which he released three CDs including Unclean (produced by Cinderella drummer Fred Coury and features Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy and Rap legend KRS-1) for the prestigious indie label Cleopatra and toured with the likes of King Diamond and Ministry and has songs featured in the movies Saw and Scary Movie 4. Believe it or not Bird sports a Bachelors degree in Electro- Acoustic Music and a Shredders degree from FU!!! Tall, dark and evil Dallas Texan, and one of the fastest geetar pickers in the west, John Valenzuela aka “JV4” rounds out the line up on guitar. JV4 was a member of San Antonio metal favorites Uriel and the industrial metal outfit PB/DC along with T.C. and Shakes. JV4 has toured the country either playing guitar or running sound as JV4 is an accomplished killer sound man and also boasts his own recording studio JV4 Studios in Dallas! Besides writing and performing, JV4 engineered some of the “EU” tunes your about to feast your ears on and I do declare it is definitely “Metal like a Son of a Bitch”! Evil United
