AMIN'n KAMAL Biography

Amin Kamal was born on July 15, 1985 in Fez, Morocco. Raised in a music loving family, he learned about the classics of oriental and Moroccan music. At only 5 years old, his uncle began giving him piano lessons and at 11 he started to practice flute . After a while, Amin found his passion in playing guitar and two years later he composed his first song. ​ He and his guitar traveled through Morocco, Turkey, Bulgaria, London and Algeria which gave him the amazing possibility of playing with many musicians from all over the globe which in turn enriched his knowledge in the world of music.

​As the lead singer of several bands; Amnesia, Mesk Ellil and Input which were influenced by reggae, rock, funk and Moroccan music he was awarded and honored with the Tremplin Casablanca and Brand Your Morocco awards which enabled him to play at L'BOULEVARD and SUN FESTIVAL in Marrakech. Amin has been invited to play regularly throughout various Moroccan cities and this summer, he will also perform in several national and international festivals.

Amin Kamal continues composing lyrics and music in Rock Fusion, denouncing the system in general because of social schizophrenia using his well known rage and humor as a form of expression. He also uses his sarcasm to make people laugh, he has many followers on "Critique Comedy”, which is where his growing number of followers enjoy the comic relief and where he continues to gain more and more fans.

Well known as an artist engaged in the urban scene, Amin talks about several sensitive topics to young Moroccan people like in his last song "Wesh Hada Dinkoum Wella Sne3touh" ,an open letter to young radicalists.....
