Renegades, gangstas, ecolutionaries who is in the mood for some cultural appreciation? Gangsta Gardner, Ron Finley continues cultivating community at the 3rd annual Da FUNction. Ron Finley is an artist, gardening his graffiti. He grows his art, the soil his canvas. His work with The Ron Finley Project is a tool of transformation--planting food forests around the world, driven by the awareness that collectively we are the soil. Ron Finley believes the problem is the solution and gardening to be the most therapeutic and defiant act we can do. South Central Los Angeles is far more than a food desert, it's a community of engaged + joyful folks ready for an eco-lution. So come kick it at this free event designed for people of all ages to have as much FUN as possible. Rain doesn’t stop this SHINE.
